  Wonderful food and service in a charming locale. We had a roasted cabbage salad and a pizza with a crab apple sauce and other toppings. Both were spot on and memorable. Highly recommended.

  Good bread, nice pizzas, friendly atmosphere. Don't accidentally order pasta though. Apparently 7 small ravioli are more than enough for an 'entree'. Stick with pizzas and be happy instead.

  Blackbird is a Bozeman staple for fine food. Great pasta and meat dishes. The pizza is unreal as well.

  Our welcome was more than cold as the hostess/waitress that led us to our seats was very curt and seemed to have stuck her nose up at us. Once we were seated, a different, friendly, waitress took care of us. She was wonderfully accommodating and attentive. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the cooks preparing food. They were honestly the most impressive component to this place. You could see how clearly they cared about the food they served; how it not only tasted delicious but looked wonderful. We shared a salad and artisan pizza and were absolutely stunned with how good it was. We will be back!
